Luke 10:33-36 But a Samaritan, as he traveled, came where the man was; and when he saw him, he took pity on him. He went to him and bandaged his wounds, pouring on oil and wine. Then he put the man on his own donkey, took him to an inn and took care of him. The next day he took out two silver coins and gave them to the innkeeper. “Look after him,” he said, “and when I return, I will reimburse you for any extra expense you may have.” Which of these three do you think was a neighbor to the man who fell into the hands of robbers?

13.   Jesus Christ had COMPASSION over the people without looking place and time; He delivers His people.
Mark 5:8 For Jesus had said to him, “Come out of this man, you evil spirit!”
Mark 9:25 When Jesus saw that a crowd was running to the scene, he rebuked the evil spirit. “You deaf and mute spirit,” he said, “I command you, come out of him and never enter him again.”

14. The compassion of Jesus Christ manifested on a sinful woman (poured alabaster perfume on His feet) when He visited a Pharisee’s house for a dinner. Jesus is always looking for the poor and desired one and He fulfill all their needs.
Luke 7:48, 50 Then Jesus said to her, “Your sins are forgiven.” Jesus said to the woman, “Your faith has saved you; go in peace.”

In all the above verses let us remember that Hebrews 13:8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever. 1 John 2:6 Whoever claims to live in him must walk as Jesus did.

Jesus had compassion on every people and He did many other things as well. God’s attribute – Compassion and His work based on compassion never ends and never cease.  If every one of Jesus work based on compassion were written down, even the whole world would not have room for the books that would be written.

Dear brothers and sisters, the most important qualities required for a servant of God is to express their compassion on others.

Prayer: Our Lord and God Jesus, I praise and thank You because Your mercies are unending and they are new every time. Great is Your faithfulness that we are not consumed. Please shower Your grace and mercy upon me in abundance on today and tomorrow. Enable me to reflect Your virtues of having love and compassion and being slow to anger on my fellow-beings. Help me to exalt Your name in everything that I do on this day. May my thoughts, words and deeds bring glory to Your name now and forever. In Your matchless name I pray. Amen.
